Q: Can you introduce yourself to our readers and tell us a bit about your journey into photography?
I’m ,Raminta, a wedding and fashion photographer based on the beautiful island of Rhodes, Greece. My journey into photography started when I picked up my first camera, and it was love at first sight! The idea of capturing real moments, emotions, and the natural beauty of people instantly resonated with me. I knew that this was what I was meant to do. Over time, my passion for photography only grew, and it has allowed me to share the magic of wedding days with so many wonderful couples from all around the world.

Q: You're based in Greece, but you also work internationally. How has traveling shaped your approach to photography?
Traveling has been one of the most transformative aspects of my career. It has taught me to be open-minded and has deepened my understanding of how interconnected we all are, no matter where we come from. To date, I’ve been fortunate enough to visit 19 countries, and my dream is to see 21 more! Each new destination brings with it a fresh perspective and a deeper appreciation for the diversity of people, cultures, and landscapes. These experiences have enriched my photography in ways I could never have imagined.
The variety of environments I've had the privilege of working in—whether it’s a tranquil beach in Greece or a vibrant city abroad—has allowed me to approach each wedding with fresh eyes, keeping my work spontaneous and authentic. It also makes me more adaptable, helping me capture moments that feel natural and true to each couple’s unique story. Traveling helps me stay inspired and creative, ensuring that every wedding I photograph feels one-of-a-kind, just like the love stories I’m privileged to capture.

Q: You’ve mentioned that you love capturing natural and spontaneous beauty. Can you tell us a little more about your style?
Absolutely! My style is all about simplicity and elegance. I believe in telling a genuine story with my photos, capturing the essence of the day as it unfolds naturally. I love to focus on moments that may go unnoticed—like the gentle squeeze of hands, a shared laugh, or an emotional glance—because those are the moments that really tell the story of love. My goal is to make couples feel at ease in front of the camera, allowing them to be themselves while I capture their true essence.

Q: You have an impressive list of achievements, including being named one of the best 20 wedding photographers in Greece & best wedding photographer in Rhodes Island .
What does this recognition mean to you?
Being recognized in this way is a true honor, and it’s something I’m incredibly grateful for. It reaffirms my belief in the importance of storytelling through photography, and it pushes me to continually strive for excellence in my craft. However, the most rewarding part is knowing that my work has had such a profound impact on couples, allowing them to relive their special day through my photos for years to come. That’s truly what drives me

Q: What advice do you have for couples who are planning their wedding photos?
My biggest piece of advice is to trust your photographer and enjoy the process. Weddings can be overwhelming, but your photos should reflect the joy and love of the day, not stress or pressure. Don’t be afraid to take a moment just for the two of you, to pause and appreciate the day. And most importantly, focus on the people around you. The connections and emotions are what make your photos truly special. The more relaxed and in-the-moment you are, the more your photos will capture the true essence of your love story.

Q: What do you enjoy the most about photographing weddings?
What I love most about photographing weddings is the opportunity to capture the pure, raw emotions that come with such an important day. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of a couple's love story and to document the moments they’ll cherish for the rest of their lives. The joy, the excitement, and sometimes even the nervousness—these are the moments that truly make the day unique. I also love that no two weddings are ever the same; each one tells its own story, and I feel so lucky to be the one entrusted with preserving it. And, of course, there's nothing like seeing a couple’s faces when they see their photos for the first time—it’s a beautiful feeling knowing I’ve captured those memories for them.

Q: You’ve had quite a journey in life, including the loss of both of your parents at a young age. How has this experience shaped the way you approach your work and life in general?
Losing my parents at a young age was a life-changing experience. It gave me the strength and determination to take full responsibility for my life. It also made me realize how precious time with loved ones really is. That’s why I approach every wedding with such passion and dedication—because I understand the importance of cherishing every moment. Life flows in unexpected ways, but I’ve learned to trust my inner voice and accept whatever comes with gratitude. Now, I feel incredibly blessed to share quality time with my family(I have 4 sisters,1 brother and 7 nephews) and I strive to capture moments that others can treasure for a lifetime.

Q: What are some things you love?
Oh, there’s so much! I love big smiles and positive people—there’s something truly contagious about positivity. I’m also a huge fan of sushi, and I could eat it every day! Traveling is another passion of mine; I’ve always felt that there’s so much to learn from different places and people. And of course, I love dogs! They bring so much joy and warmth into life. Lastly, I enjoy long walks on the beach—there’s something calming about the sound of the waves and the fresh air.

Q "Are you married ?''
No, I’m not married and I don’t have children. However, I’m in a wonderful relationship, and I strongly believe in the power of love. It’s a source of great inspiration for me, both in my personal life and in my
work
Q: What do you love most about being a wedding photographer?
Being a wedding photographer is an absolute dream job for me. I love it because I get to witness and document one of the most beautiful and important days in people’s lives. I’m a hopeless romantic at heart, and the celebration of love fills me with so much joy. There’s no greater honor than being trusted with the responsibility of preserving such a meaningful event for a couple, their families, and future generations.

I am truly grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me to capture such special moments. Every wedding I photograph is an honor, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to be part of each couple’s unique journey. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my work—I can’t wait to create beautiful memories together!
